BUILDING A BRIGHT FUTURE RIGHT NOW

This is not the first time that Mykola Kabluka has been invited to speak at a very interesting large-scale event—the Ukrainian Construction Congress—and this time the program is even more intense, with two major panel discussions and two personal presentations. This event brought together a very diverse audience of architects, developers, representatives of small and medium-sized businesses, politicians, and government officials.

Mykola Kabluka, together with Dmitry Vasilyev and Anna Iskerd, also discussed one of the topics of the congress, “The City After Tomorrow: How Cooperation Between Architects and Developers Shapes Quality Space in Times of Reconstruction,” focusing on the importance of lighting master plans, various legislative aspects, and design standards.

This time, Mykola appeared alongside Maksym Kotsyuba, one of the best landscape architects, and shared their joint international and Ukrainian projects, where landscape and light complement each other.

Among the cases were the central square of Chernivtsi together with the National University, and a new financial center with a super-premium residential complex in Cyprus, on which we are currently actively working. Each of them is unique and different, but they have something in common — an approach that makes the space alive and holistic, not only during the day but also at night.

In addition to participating in panel discussions, Mykola also personally shared his knowledge and experience in architectural lighting design, where light itself is a key element that enhances architectural composition, reveals the structure of an object, controls perception scenarios, and creates the necessary atmosphere in the evening and at night.
