OUR “HEART OF UKRAINE” BEAT WITH NEW SENSATIONS AT THE MENORAH CENTER

This meeting, organized by The Aspen Institute Kyiv team at the Menorah Center, brought together opinion leaders, businesspeople, executives of large companies, government officials, and representatives of the public sector—people who don't just talk, but take action, who don't stop in such difficult times, but do everything possible and impossible to change our country for the better.

It was very valuable to gather with such conscious and proactive people in a discussion panel. It was also valuable to present our well-known media art installation “Heart of Ukraine,” created in collaboration with Valerii Kuznetsov, which shone with new meanings and a new unique scenario developed specifically for the Aspen event.

During the panel discussion “Leadership in Times of Uncertainty,” alongside such powerful speakers as Katya Osadcha, Artem Romanyukov, Oleksandr Pertsovskyi, and Ruslan Shostak, Mykola Kabluka spoke about leadership during wartime, about choosing to act, uphold values, and inspire others.

This time, we have developed a real Unity Ritual – a special interactive and emotional activation that engages everyone present in interaction.
The installation symbolizes that leadership and civic responsibility begin with an inner calling of the heart. The “heart” embodies the pulse of public dialogue and the embodiment of a common idea that a democratic community needs.

It symbolizes value-oriented leadership, openness and responsibility, the desire to create and improve this world, synergy and unity of action.
For the first time, we used the latest spatial sensor algorithms that allow the heart to
“feel” collective interaction. Holding hands and raising them, we launched a real light explosion. It was an incredible shared emotion!
