OUR HEART BEATS IN THE HEART OF THE MOTHERLAND

It is extremely symbolic that here, in the National Museum of the History of Ukraine in the Second World War, the installation has become an important element of the FOR FREEDOM exhibition dedicated to foreign volunteers who joined the International Legion of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine in an effort to defend freedom and peace and laid down their lives for the future of the Ukrainian people.

Therefore, it is here that our ‘Heart’ has acquired a special significance, enhancing the exhibits with its light and reflecting every story, every name, every choice with its pulsation. The beating heart is the voice of Ukraine, which sounds despite the war.

In this context, our Heart installation has acquired a special significance, enhancing the exhibits with its light and echoing every story, every name, and every choice with its pulsation.

We wanted to show how art and light become a form of communication in times of war. This is especially evident in the example of ‘Heart’, where light gives life, tells about important things, unites people around it. It is about all those who made the choice to act, about unity, about the spirit of the Ukrainian people. It is a symbol of the country's inner pulse.

In this installation, we have combined media and interactive elements into a single system. This includes controlled multi-channel lighting, 3D mapping with complex dynamic shadows around the sculpture, and sound to enhance the experience. Thanks to special sensors connected to the Expolight Cloud Control System, the Heart reacts to human approach. It seems that it is really alive and pulsating. And thanks to the QR code, a person gets to the page where they can learn more about the meaning and philosophy of the installation.

Our ‘Heart of Ukraine’ beats FOR FREEDOM!
