The Tree Of Life

When we found out that we would be working on the 37xDubai project and analyzed its concept, which combines traditional and digital art, and that the digital and physical worlds will intersect here, we wanted to create an image like a tree, which is not typologically a tree, but is alive and can be touched. This organic aesthetic form, filled with digital bits, dynamic light, and atmospheric music, is already an online artwork we want gallery visitors to interact with. For this purpose, we have created a custom mobile application through which a person can create their unique art object and interact with the sculpture using their body movements. 

The Tree metaphorically reflects how our thoughts materialize in the living and digital space. Everyone can be a creator, creating their masterpiece in the digital and real worlds.

This author's sculpture has a complex control system and many modes.

We use:   

• Internal light, 

• External light, 

• Six projectors were stitched into one picture, broadcasting additional effects on the tree.

• Own custom software Expolight Cloud Control 

• A special custom web application for creating your own art object and interacting with it.

The sculpture lives during the day, changing different modes, and each visitor can create their peace of art and interact with it through a unique custom application. 

Mode 1: Digital stories is a mode that combines internal light and media projections from six projectors, which in turn are connected to the music and change synchronously with it. 

Mode 2: Generative mode, in which a person chooses their favorite color and effects and can interact with the tree. 

To do this, we installed a unique sensor that responds to human movements and launches online-generated content that changes with human actions. Reacting to movements, the tree changes visually and reacts to sounds.
