An interactive app was launched in the center of the capital on Bankova Street, allowing everyone to create their own Christmas tree decoration with meaning. Kyiv residents and guests of the city could launch their laser projection on the facade and use the meanings embedded in each symbol and color to greet each guest of the square

This is probably the most beautiful program we've ever created for such public interactions. Starting from St. Nicholas Day until February, every evening, 30 minutes after sunset, the interactive was launched on the facade, which can be accessed through a light QR code, scanning which opens a colorful web application in the browser that does not require downloading. It immediately offers the user to choose one of six semantic decorations:
- a Christmas tree symbolizes a wish for good health
- a snowman wishes for merry and joyful holidays
- a gingerbread man wishes for interesting adventures
- a toy wishes for a strong and sincere friendship
- a gift wishes good mood and positive emotions
- angel wishes for the fulfillment of dreams
Next, you need to choose one of six colors, each of which also symbolizes something: love, prosperity, health, creativity, inspiration, and joy. The last step is to choose the animation with which the unique toy will appear on the facade.
The entire program, from the concept and semantic content to the technical and graphic implementation, was developed and implemented in-house by our IT team and designers at Expolight. The interactive decorations are simultaneously launched on the facade by 10 lasers and synchronized into a common complex system that is remotely controlled from the server.
