About the project

This restaurant in the historic part of the old town is located in a basement, the walls of which are more than 300 years old. Light enters the room only partially, so our task was to create comfortable conditions for visitors to stay in the restaurant both during the day and in the evening. With light, we removed the feeling of a basement and emphasized the unique interior design of the establishment, which combines elegant classicism and light modernity.

To reveal the texture of the brick from the 18th century, we illuminated it with a hidden linear light of a warm glow. We carefully worked out the percentages of the ratio of brightness, intensity, and accentuation of light for day and night lighting.

Considering modern trends, we selected the illumination suitable for beautiful photos.
