About project

The ZMIST bar in Kyiv is another very interesting project in which we have comprehensively developed not only architectural lighting but also media projection and caustic sconces by our own glass-blowing production Optical Metaphor.

For this object especially, we have developed luminaires with directed narrow beams. We positioned them in such a way as to create gliding light and reveal shadows. The interior design uses natural elements, and it's a pleasure to work with them, drawing pictures on the ceiling with the shadows of leaves.
We worked out the percentages of the ratio of brightness, intensity, and accentuation of light for day and night lighting in a nuanced way. We have linked all the lighting elements into a single control system that allows you to change scenarios, providing a comfortable lighting atmosphere that matches human biorhythms.  Scenario changes occur automatically according to a schedule, with a smooth flow from morning mode to daytime, evening, and late evening. Considering current trends, we selected the lighting so that it was also suitable for selfies and Instagram photos of food.
The lighting, as well as media projection and glass blowing, are all connected through our Expolight Cloud Control System, so we can control the lighting at the venue from different parts of the world.
