RC Port City

The facility has a unique port overlooking the embankment, making it a special oasis in the middle of the city, and the complex itself forms the architectural silhouette of a five-star cruise ship on the riverbank.

We installed the luminaires, adjusting the brightness, angle of aim, and distance of the LED from the lens for each of them individually. This was done with a special adjustable pin. Depending on the distance, we chose one of three types of caustic lens and adjusted the direction of the light spot ellipse opening so that neighboring spots harmoniously combined into a single pattern.

By investigating the facility in the early stages of lighting design, we identify the specific needs of the project and develop customized solutions. For most projects, we design, develop, and supply our own unique luminaires and lighting equipment that are successfully integrated into the facility. It is especially important that our production is located in Ukraine. We even produced diodes in Ukraine, supporting local manufacturers who continued to work even during the war.

After designing, we print models of the luminaires on a 3D printer, try them on at the facility, test them, and only then put them into production. Especially for projects on embankments and near water bodies, we have developed our own serial luminaire with a caustic effect.

In the process, we developed custom glass lenses, special LED modules, and a mechanism for adjusting the distance between the module and the lens. These lenses create the effects of water and shadows from tree branches, giving our lighting a special character.

The main goal of our work was to emphasize the closeness of the complex to nature, creating a cozy space for relaxation and recovery. We use soft caustic light along the paths, which imitates the movement of water and the illumination of trees.
