About project

It was important for us to think through and design the light so that the Goodwill space was especially cozy and comfortable for family outings in the evening.

All of the lights at Goodwill were completely designed and manufactured by our Expolight team in Ukraine, and that's something we're very proud of.

We installed adjustable luminaires with various optics on tall poles to create natural shadows from the most beautiful branches and leaves, which we complemented with artificial shadows using our custom stencils. We managed to calculate the individual placement, size, and stencil pattern for each luminaire to achieve the perfect pattern on the path. Even the luminaire housing was designed by us—with movable parts to easily adjust the pattern scale.

Thanks to the hidden lights below eye level, under the benches, we created a comfortable and cozy atmosphere for people, as if they were in the middle of a forest. But the true stars of the lighting in the complex are our unique bollards, which have no analogs in the world!

The bollard is made entirely of marine-grade stainless steel, making it able to withstand any weather conditions and designed for use even in coastal areas.

Additionally, the luminaire has a custom filter that creates caustic and shadow effects on the paths.

To avoid disrupting the natural biorhythms of animals and people in the eco-settlement, we set up a complex dimming logic for the luminaire. Based on a professional automation system, the bollards automatically dim along the path line where a person walks, and the light does not disturb insects either.
