"Soul" Light Installation

"Soul" is an art installation that had an honorable mission to "shed light" and draw attention to the 110th anniversary of the Dnipro Art Museum, and as a gift from the Kabluka team, Light & Digital Sculptures by Expolight decorated the museum's facade.

The installation expresses the light of the soul of the Ukrainian people, their creativity and uniqueness. It is alive and constantly different - the light effects, spreading across the facade, resemble intangible paints that are "looking for a shape" and spread across the facade canvas. And it is also an allusion to all the art that the walls of more than a century have been keeping.

It is a combination of optical effects, light control algorithms and mechanical motion systems.

We developed special custom glass filters, which were placed at a well-defined distance from the caustic laser, and obtained an infinite combinatorics of light refraction, inspired by light effects in nature. As well as special software that controls the entire system.
