About the project

Light brings out the texture of brick and the mirror-like ephemerality of glass.
The right subtle light is, in chemical terms, a catalyst for architecture. all the architectural features of a building are enhanced by light several times over.

We designed the lighting for the MADISON business centre, the architectural concept of which is based on a combination of the historical heritage element of the Yekaterinoslav façade and a modern glass element.

We worked out the percentages of brightness and light intensity of each detail in a nuanced way. We chose the lighting shades very carefully and repeatedly experimented with the depth of illumination of the glass and brick parts of the façade separately. For us, this is always a very important and exciting moment.

We revealed the brick with warm, gliding light, not hiding all its cracks and chips, but rather emphasising its historical authenticity.
The window imposts were highlighted with light in a contrasting and elegant way using compact luminaires with single-degree optics, revealing the glass.

Just as the old brick part of the façade is embraced by glass, this building is enclosed in the arms of the objects that we comprehensively illuminated. On the one hand, there are the Cascade Plaza, Bosphorus, Yekaterinoslavsky I, and Enigma business centres, and on the other hand, the Menorah, Europe's largest Jewish cultural centre, and the Passage shopping centre.
