about project

“The Point of Unity” is a meditative sculpture that connects heaven and earth, people and nature, the present and the future. It will become a symbol of international diplomacy and Ukraine's voice on the international creative stage.

The installation is based on optical effects and the play of light, which transform the space into a living interaction. It “roots” the sky in the ground, creating the illusion that the sky surrounds a person on all sides — above and below. This state of merging with infinity awakens a sense of wholeness, inspires, calms, and opens new horizons for creativity.

The viewer becomes part of the installation — immersed in the play of light, reflections, sounds, and silence. During the day, the installation reflects the sky on the ground, and at night it creates an atmosphere of calm and concentration. Visitors can enter, feel the mirrored floor under their feet, run their hands along the curved walls, listen to the silence or the sounds around them, and watch the light change.

Each corner opens up a new perspective: even a slight shift can suddenly reveal a glint of sunlight or a constellation of stars. The interaction between the real and the reflected sometimes causes slight disorientation — a reminder of the importance of being “here and now.”

Inside, there is an acoustic system that creates a sound environment. It is based on mathematical patterns and harmonious ratios that refer to the ideas of architectonics and cosmic rhythms. The installation engages sight, hearing, and touch, opening up new dimensions of perception. This multisensory approach enhances its meditative quality and allows everyone to experience a personal moment of unity.

Light serves as a metaphor for life energy, while sound represents the hidden structure of reality. A person entering the installation becomes the central point where all these dimensions intersect. In this way, Point of Unity creates an experience that reminds us of the commonality and interconnectedness of all that exists.
