Sports club SmartAss - a unique project for Ukraine. The creators studied the world experience and were inspired by it to realize an unusual and atypical project.
The club has five halls: a boxing room, for functional training, for climbing, for cycling and a room for yoga and barre. In each of them, several lighting scenarios in different colors have been developed, which automatically change during training, taking into account their phases, and at the same time it is linked to audio content. Thus, at the stages of warming up, at the beginning of training, at the peak of activity and at the finish, lighting scenarios give an additional effect on the condition of athletes, changing the light intensity, color gamut, and dynamics.
For the cycling hall, we have developed and implemented statically fixed wheels with the rotation effect due to the movement of light in them. We can control the speed of rotation, the spectrum of light, and also created about 20 different patterns of movement along the wall of these wheels.
In the boxing room, each punching bag is illuminated from above by a light source, and the central one, in which the trainer is boxing, is accented in a separate color.
The yoga room and barre are lit softer and calmer, but also has several modes with varying degrees of light brightness, color temperature The location of the trainer is highlighted with a more accent bright spot.
When designing various lighting scenes, we took into account the influence of Color on the mood and physiological systems of the body. Here, as nowhere else, it is felt that light is not only a catalyst for architecture, but also a catalyst for mood, emotional and physical conditions.
