INSPIRED UKRAINIAN CITY LEADERS TO CREATE LIGHTING MASTER PLANS

After a productive week in Dnipro, where together with our Expolight team, professional architects, students and teachers we developed the concept of a lighting master plan for our hometown, Mykola Kabluka and Roger went to Kyiv.

There, together with Pragmatika Media, we organized a cool event for all lovers of architecture and light senses, where Mykola and Roger gave a joint lecture on “Lighting Master Plan as a Strategy for Urban Development.”

This lecture became a place to discuss important and at the same time interesting issues: how to create lighting that not only emphasizes the architectural uniqueness of cities, but also contributes to the development of its nightlife, meets modern energy efficiency standards and creates a fascinating nighttime image to make residents and visitors feel more comfortable.

It was a pleasure to share our experience of transforming cities with the help of light with Roger and to present to architects, urbanists, government and business representatives the results of the workshop in Dnipro, where the first ideas for a new nighttime look of the city were implemented and will become the basis for a new lighting design.

There is still a lot of work to be done, and we are glad to be taking these first steps together with people who share our vision of Ukraine's future. We are working to make our cities admired and proud, day and night.
